APARTMENTS REFURBISHMENT – CASPAR HOUSE BIRMINGHAM
The full refurbishment of a residential development set on an area of approximately 2045m2. The accommodation consists of two linear blocks separated by an atrium that contains bespoke offset floating bridges and walkways. The atrium is glazed over on the top and ends however remains external.
Each block has 23 Apartments spread over five floors, each with double aspect, looking into the atrium and to the outside with views of the iconic BT Tower and Central Library.
The internal design of each apartment incorporated a new high specification bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, lobby and living space. Each apartment received new electrical installations, state of the art fire alarm systems, modern efficient hot water cylinders, Staron worktops, Grohe brasswear, fully tiled bathrooms, bespoke vanity units, Karndean flooring, finished with fitted wardrobes. Common areas saw the full steam clean, decoration, lift upgrade refurbishment and external branded signage.
Phasing the works throughout the 20 – week delivery from possession to handover allowed continuous works and the advancement of snagging in good time, providing for a Zero snag handover earlier than anticipated.
